All sites where two or more people attend must prepare a COVID-19 Action Plan

As this is an ever-changing environment with regular updates to the current situation please find the most up-to-date information at the HSE Website link – https://www2.hse.ie/coronavirus/

ROPE ACCESS AND SAFETY TRAINING LTD.

As we carry out an activity that is necessary for the continued provision to the Telecoms Industry as an Essential Service during this restrictive phase of protecting ourselves and others and RAAST being part of the essential supply chain will be operating to the maximum extent possible.

To ensure that we are all compliant in relation to the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 [Part 2, Chapter 1, Section 8] that “Training under this section shall be adapted to take account of new or changed risks to safety, health and welfare at work and shall, as appropriate, be repeated periodically” this is why we are proceeding with Climbing & Rescue Training for the time being.

OVERVIEW;

COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It’s caused by a virus called coronavirus. It can take up to 14 days for symptoms of coronavirus to appear. They can be like the symptoms of cold and flu.

For people who get infected with coronavirus: 80% will have mild illness and make a full recovery within a few weeks 14% will have a more severe illness 6% will have a critical illness.

We have developed a thorough COVID-19 specific Risk Assessment that companies and the attendees MUST read in advance of attending our training facilities.

Each attendee MUST then sign the last page (SELF-DECLARATION & GUIDANCE FORM), and then email to the training co-ordinator in advance of the training.
