R.A.A.S.T provides a range of health and safety training courses to the Construction and Telecommunication Industry in the area of working at height.
In order to comply with the Safety, Health and Welfare at work Act 2005, which places a duty of care on both employers and others to ensure that people carrying out work on their behalf or in places of work which they control have a responsibility to ensure that such persons are suitably trained for any task that which they may be required to perform and in regard to working at height this requirement is further expanded upon in Section 4 of the General Applications Regulations which state; “Employers must provide such additional training and instruction or take other additional suitable
and sufficient measures to prevent, so far as is practicable, any employee falling a distance liable to
cause personal injury”.
